HEY THERE!

As a kid I dreamed of traveling the world and photographing working ranches. Along the way of chasing that dream, I discovered I also had a passion for capturing couples and telling their love stories…and the combination of the two set my soul on fire.

That dream brought me to where I am today, telling the love stories for ranch couples all over the country. Generations from now, not only will families have these images to cherish...they will be able to share with the world the true love stories behind what authentic ranchlife was in this era.

The film (above) is a glimpse into my life. And if you liked it you'll enjoy this one too...it has ranch branding scenes AND running horses.

I was Born a cowboys Daughter.

Growing up my hero was my daddy and my celebrity crushes were Sam Elliot and Tom Selleck. I wrote in my diary that I wanted to be Tim Cox with a camera…the next David R Stoeklein. I worked as a vet tech out of high school to save for photography equipment and "side-hustled" my business.

My mom homeschooled me and all my 5 younger siblings and taught me the invaluable skill of being able teach myself anything I wanted.

Married Nelson Garber..

And together we had these two cuties. Paisley (5 years) & Wyatt (1 year).

The ranch wedding photographer

Years ago I found myself hearing the same things over and over: "My photographer got lost trying to find the ranch and missed half the wedding." "We had a photographer ask me (bride) to lead him (groom) around horseback." "The photographer was scared of our cattle." "Our horse shots look awful!" "My cowboy fiance couldn't stand the photographer."

And while I'd started out as an "all-things-to-all-people photographer" one day I was exhausted after shooting another city wedding, where had absolutely NOTHING in common the couple and guests, I had a passing thought..."What if I JUST shot cowboy couples and ranch weddings?" That was back before "niche-ing" was even a thing...but I knew how to follow fence-post directions to rural ranches, I hated corny cowboy poses, I could flank calves with my cameras on and I know how to angle a horse to show off that hip. So why not Lyndsey?

In the 6 years since I made that decision to narrow my market to my people, good-ol-country folks, I have traveled from coast to coast and border to border of the United States, using my camera as the tool to telling cowboy love stories.
